Join the Denver Carolina Club for a day at the beach at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area! Come hang out in the sun and enjoy the mountain views as you meet new and old Tar Heel friends, and take a few turns on the mountain.
Where: Arapahoe Basin Ski Area, Beach Spot #7 (for our seven national titles!) — look for the Carolina flag.
When: Sunday, April 22 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Snow or shine! We’ll be there all day — if you are an early bird, feel free to drop your stuff at our tailgate.
Cost: $15 ($10 for GAA members). This covers the Club’s costs for the beach spot and food. Any proceeds benefit the Club’s scholarship fund, which each year supports a Colorado student attending Carolina. What is provided:
- Food: vegetarian and meat burgers, chips and sides, and more.
- Water.
- Beach spot and friendly faces.

All welcome! Skiers and snowboarders of all levels, friends, family and kids!
What to bring:
- Yourself and any equipment – and wear your Carolina gear!
- Any beverages you want to enjoy at “the beach.”
- Camp chairs.
- Be sure to bring your pass or plan to purchase a day pass if you want to ski/ride the lifts.
Parking: Parking at A-Basin is free but there are no reserved spots at the beach. Please plan to park in one of the other lots. Feel free to use the Facebook event page to find a carpool!
