The Denver Carolina Alumni Club invites area alumni to a happy hour networking event June 7 at the Denver Press Club.
The event — in collaboration with the UNC School of Media and Journalism Alumni Association — will feature a cash-bar networking hour starting at 5:30 p.m. and a discussion with Denver Broncos reporter and 2007 alumna Nicki Jhabvala at 6:30 p.m.
Jhabvala reports for The Athletic and formerly worked at The Denver Post. She’ll talk about sports journalism in the Deadspin and gambling era, being a woman in the locker room and what to expect from the Broncos this year.
The event is open to all area alumni. The reception will be held at the Denver Press Club on 1330 Glenarm Place, Denver.
